Calico Lightweight is a plain weave fabric made with 100% natural cotton. It is 60% lighter than the heavyweight calico fabric making it very popular in dressmaking and other garment designs. The fabric will shrink up to 10-15% in the initial wash. As long as the first wash temperature is not exceeded, further shrinkage should be minimal, we recommend a wash temperature between 30-40 degrees.
Fabric is untreated ie. natural cream colour and requires washing before further processing.
